Entering a New Era, a day of exploration. Saturday 5.7.25
Saturday 5th July, a day to be held at The Lodge that is neither workshop or simply a gathering but a day of exploration led and held by Marilyn Hills and Jennifer Ash. How does it feel to move into a new phase or era of life? And what will that mean for us as we go forward?
As human beings we are physically, emotionally and mentally fluid, constantly but subtly changing, life’s events bring our attention to those changes.
Our Intention for this day is to offer a safe and welcoming environment for us to speak freely, spontaneously from the heart, to find ways to express the emotional, physical and spiritual processes concerning those places of life altering events, the territories of transition, movement, regression and flux.
Our days are full of moments we can choose to explore but at times our journey through life meets a major challenge. This may be a significant Birthday, Job change, Bereavement, Menopause, Empty Nest Syndrome, Retirement, Fatherhood, Motherhood. Whatever the actual major experience, it can catapault or even insidiously lead, us into unknown places in ourselves. These we can choose to avoid, dissociate from or get stuck in. Or we can meet this new time in our lives, acknowledging difficulties, pain and the challenges whilst also embracing possibilities and potential in the newness of change.
Using the structure of Way of Council, based on indigenous practices, we will invite everyone to be open to whatever each person brings to the group, sharing and listening from the heart to one another and speaking from what arises in the moment, reflecting as we explore whatever is arising for us individually.
The day will be supported by Meditation, coffee and biscuits, a Vegetarian lunch, a Gong Bath and the beautiful countryside of the Blackdown Hills in East Devon- oh and yes by Marilyn and Jenny!
The day will begin at 10am and we will finish with tea and cakes at 4.30pm. The size of the group will be restricted to 12 at a maximum. The inclusive cost of £75 to be paid beforehand.
